Job Description:

The Accountant will be responsible for various financial tasks within Samia's Firm. The ideal candidate should have excellent numerical and organizational skills as well as strong attention to detail. They should be familiar with accounting principles and possess the ability to apply them accurately in daytoday tasks. The Accountant will work closely with the finance team and will report directly to the Finance Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records including general ledgers payroll records and accounts payable/receivable
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
• Conduct regular reconciliations of financial accounts
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Handle tax preparation and compliance activities
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws regulations and internal policies
• Provide financial analysis and support for decisionmaking processes
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve financial performance and efficiency

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Proficient in using accounting software
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well independently and in a team

Desired Experience:

13 years of experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred.
