We are looking for a Finance expert for the position asAccountant for our Group Holding Companies to join our exciting journey in shaping the future of veterinary care together.

About the role

The AniCura Group is growing rapidly through organic growth and acquisitions across Europe. As the Accountant for Group Holding Companies you are part of the Group Financial Control/Group Accounting Team at AniCura consisting of 10 international Finance experts. You will be reporting to the HoldCo Accounting Team Lead.

The role is based in Stockholm Sweden where our headoffice is located.The role is permanent and fulltime.

Your key responsibilities will include

• Perform group reporting and Statutory reporting (i.e. Statutory audit tax filings etc.)
• Perform and document performance of internal controls as required (i.e. Reconciliations checklist etc.)
• Periodic and monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts agreed with Accounting Manager.
• Manage the periodic intercompany reconciliations.
• Overall responsible for the processing of suppliers invoices and other related tasks related to Accounts Payable agreed with Accounting Manager
• Overall responsible for the processing of customer invoices and other tasks related to Accounts Receivable agreed with Accounting Manager.
• Any daytoday or adhoc responsibilities or other tasks within Finance & Administration as agreed with the Accounting Manager relating to the Swedish Holding companies
• Participate in/manage improvements projects and other projects
• Backup for other team members

You are expected to have

• Academic degree within the area of Finance Business Administration or Economics or similar
• The job holder should have an accounting or finance background with a minimum of 510 years of working experience in accounting
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks as well as several projects simultaneously and still perform per deadline.
• Proactive and problemsolving approach
• Experience from analysis work
• Good system knowledge (and ability to adapt to new systems) and high degree of literacy in MS Office especially MS Excel
• Experience working in an ERP system
• Experience with US GAAP and strong knowledge of Swedish GAAP including K3
• Experience of preparing Annual reports and other Swedish statutory filings
• Experience and proven success in working very well in a team including working with crossborder teams.
• Experience from an international fastgrowing environment is preferred where building relationships communicate well and work both independently and in a team are success factors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills both in Swedish and English.
