Accountant & Financial Controller

At Sleepiz, we are building the future of healthcare in which patient care is more personalized, comfortable, and supportive by making use of real-world data from the patient at home. As our operations and practices continue to expand, we are seeking a Financial Controller to support our growing business.

Tasks

What You Will Do:

• Oversee and manage financial and accounting operations for the Company including maintaining records of expenditures and reconciling journey entries.
• Close, prepare and publish monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements including general ledger and cash flow statements.
• Accounts receivable: compute, prepare and send invoices or purchase orders and follow up to ensure there are no payment discrepancies.
• Accounts payable: pay invoices by verifying transaction information, schedule and prepare disbursements after obtaining authorization of payment.
• Set up and perform banking transactions including bank wires and transfers.
• Optimize current financial account processes in coordination with our CFO.
• Drive compliance and quality in all finance related matters.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in accounting or finance and/or CFA qualification
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Fluent in English and German
• Knowledge of international accounting standards (e.g. IFRS)
