The Role

This is a specialised role focused on ensuring consistent exemplary customer service is experienced by our 3PL clients. Working as part of a team, the Account Executive will through urgency, focus and reliability help to deliver the commitments we have made for high quality logistics services to our clients, so that they may in turn meet the needs of their customers and patients.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Pre Wholesale Commercial Manager UK in driving a Customer Service ethos that provide a best-in-class client and customer experience.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the services, ensuring strong time management and organisational skills are employed.
  • Resolve client and customer queries in a timely manner.
  • Ensure customer orders are inputted and managed appropriately and accurately within SLA.
  • Monitor back-orders and track shipments where required, keeping customers informed on lead times.
  • Work to create and maintain an appropriate pricing structure for all Durbin services.
  • Liaise with various other departments within Durbin to prevent issues or to resolve issues and achieve results.
  • Assist the Pre Wholesale Commercial Manager UK to review, monitor and provide improvements to processes and systems.
  • Ensure all relevant regulatory paperwork is supplied to Quality when required
  • Comply with all Durbin GDP processes and procedures.
  • Work alongside the Pre Wholesale Commercial Manager UK to ensure documentation and reporting of Adverse Drug Reactions and Quality Defects to the Durbin Quality Lead and to the client are managed within GDP guidelines.
  • Be aligned with Durbin company strategy and focus including an in-depth knowledge of all relevant Work Instructions and SOPs.
  • Any other duties that may arise relating to the support of the pre-wholesale or wider teams to drive growth and profitability.

Qualification, Experience & Skills Required

  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Solution driven problem solver, ability to think creatively.
  • Ability to focus on the task in hand, however routine some may seem.
  • Ability to build strong relationships.
  • Excellent numeracy and IT skills (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint etc).
  • Attention to detail and have a genuine feel for what is right.
  • Experience in a customer facing/service/logistics role.
  • Positive can-do attitude, and a find-out-how-to-do attitude.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Communicates in a professional manner and effectively manages customer liaison.
  • Works well within a team, flexible and willing to share the workload both ways.
  • Enjoys the work, relishes a sense of achievement, and wants more.
