At The Wise Seeker we are looking for an Account Executive to work with one of our clients in the UK
The purpose of the role is to provide quotations for New Business and Renewals to assist the Branch and be a referral point for the Assistants The role requires dealing with clients over the phone and via email to ensure retention and sales targets are maximised through the provision of efficient communication & negotiation skills
You will need to have good judgement be analytical have great attention to detail be flexible self motivated driven & deliver excellent customer service whilst always adhering to their individual underwriting authority limits and in accordance with the procedure manual

Functions

  1. Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  2. Continuously identify areas for improvement and provide potential solutions to the company and reduce costs
  3. Excellent customer service whilst meeting customer requirements efficiently & effectively for New Business
  4. Understand the processes and procedures required to provide quotations & put forward suitable products to meet the client EUR(TM)s demands and needs
  5. Ensure that all product information provided is clear fair and not misleading allowing the customer to make an informed decision
  6. Calculate New Business premiums in accordance with the specific carrier EUR(TM)s risk appetite and guidelines or liaise with insurers for all nondelegated authority business
  7. Ensure that telephone calls are answered & dealt with promptly & efficiently
  8. Maintain thorough and accurate records of all customer interactions
  9. Identify complaints and refer to the necessary complaint handler
  10. Dealing with queries by email telephone and in person ensuring that all SLAs are adhered to
  11. Required to be a referral point within the Branch
  12. Ensure that you remain compliant in everything that you do including but not limited to treating customers fairly contract certainty & vulnerable customers

Requirements

  1. Competent in windowsbased programmes word excel outlook and internet
  2. Excellent communication skills written and oral
  3. Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  4. Positive cando attitude

  7. Ability to work under pressure
  8. Good personal organisation skills
  9. Good timekeeping and presentation of self and work
  10. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  11. Articulate & Numerate
  12. Works with a high degree of accuracy in all tasks
  13. Honesty integrity reputation competence/capability & financial soundness as required under the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Guernsey Financial Services Commission
  14. Must have years minimum experience working within a broking or underwriting environment
  15. Competent in windowsbased programmes word excel outlook and internet
