Overview:

The Academic Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the educational programs and ensuring their smooth functioning within the organization. They are responsible for collaborating with faculty staff and students to maintain the academic standards and enhance the overall learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement academic policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with faculty to schedule classes and academic activities
  • Supervise and support academic staff members
  • Ensure compliance with educational regulations and accreditation standards
  • Assist in curriculum development and evaluation
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the academic experience
  • Manage academic resources and facilities
  • Organize and oversee student advisement and counseling services
  • Coordinate academic events workshops and seminars
  • Conduct regular evaluations of academic programs and recommend improvements
  • Prepare and manage academic budgets
  • Assist in student recruitment and admissions process
  • Resolve academic issues and conflicts
  • Stay updated with trends and developments in higher education
  • Provide reports and analysis on academic performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in academic coordination or related roles
  • Demonstrated knowledge of academic policies and procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty staff and students
  • Familiarity with educational technologies and learning management systems
  • Understanding of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements

  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation
