75 Delivery Driver

Our client a leading homeware supplier are seeking professional 7.5 Tonne drivers to join their team. Drivers are customer facing and therefore act as ambassadors for our client there for as a multidrop driver you will be expected to deliver a range of furniture and homeware. The role will include route planning completion of paperwork parcel & vehicle checks making deliveries and providing the best possible customer service. Working professionally and efficiently to deliver service in accordance with relevant Company policy.

7.5 Tonne Driver Job Duties

• 6am start Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday (Rotating)
• Multidrop deliveries on a 7.5 Tonne vehicle
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks reporting any faults to Line Manager ensuring that the Company vehicle allocated is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition documenting appropriate checks and reporting any faults immediately.
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean and tidy and only used for business purpose
• Assist in loading assembled orders onto vehicle ensuring that the payload is within the limits for the vehicle and goods are safely loaded for delivery.
• Ensure duties are carried out complying fully with the requirements of the Company Operators Licence.
• Ensure all scheduled deliveries are completed in a timely manner unloading and taking to final delivery point as requested.
• Ensure that all POD (Proof Of Delivery) paperwork is correct and authorised

7.5 Tonne Driver Specifics

• Full UK/EU/EEA driving licence
• Commercial driving experience
• No more than 6 points
• Right to work in the UK
