5G Test Engineer

We are seeking a 5G Test Engineer to help deliver our innovative products to market. This role will be focused on development of new automated test cases for 5G network components. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of black, white, and gray box testing concepts and how to apply them in automated tests. Experience writing detailed test plans and implementing those plans in modern Python is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review formal specifications and internal design documents to derive test requirements.

• Develop test requirements and test plan documentation in preparation for implementing test cases.

• Review test designs with other team members and incorporate feedback.

• Implement Python test cases and extend Python test frameworks as necessary for the correct functionality of test cases.

• Understand in-house maintenance command infrastructure and extend it as required by the test cases.

• Review test and product logs upon test failure, triage, and log meaningful bug reports. MUST HAVE ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS

• 4+ years of experience with Python.

• 4+ years of experience in an automated test development role. black, white, and gray box testing concepts.

  SHOULD HAVE ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS

Previous experience writing C or C++.

Understanding of

Previous experience testing mobile network equipment or telecom systems.
