3D Geospatial Product Engineer I - Maps SDK for JavaScript

At the Esri R Center Zurich we are looking for a junior product engineer who will help us to grow and foster the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript for D workflows Our SDK empowers web developers around the globe to build compelling mapping applications

As a leader in GIS technology we welcome applicants with strong Geospatial backgrounds

Join us to push the state of the art of what is possible with just a browser

• Collaborate with the team on new functionality for D workflows and visualizations
• Gather and analyze requirements to ensure the SDK meets the needs of developers stakeholders and end users
• Test the usability and functionality of the SDK
• Write comprehensive documentation code samples and release notes to enable developers utilizing the SDK effectively
• Gather valuable feedback and recommend improvements
• Develop demo web apps to showcase the power of our SDK in D mapping

• Bachelors degree in cartography geography geomatics surveying other geospatial or/and computer science or a related field
• years of experience in JavaScript ideally TypeScript CSS and HTML and keen to quickly learn more
• Knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS) concepts and applications
• Passion for innovative cartography and data visualizations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow in all aspects of product development
• Existing work authorization for Switzerland

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance test strategies test automation and developing test scripts
• Experience with writing technical documentation
• Masters degree
