BALANCE eating disorder treatment center a premium treatment center in Manhattan is seeking a highly motivated passionate Lead Program Therapist to join our expanding team!

The Position

The Intake Coordinator is the first point of contact for a person or a person of a loved one seeking eating disorder treatment. Coordinators will create relationships with these individuals and provide resources and support as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule Initial Intake assessment.
• Follow up on inquiries incoming calls Acuities and emails from clients and provide them with information about our programs groups individual services webinars and free support groups as needed.
• Input client information into a database and active campaign and ensure the information is accurate and up to date.
• Assist Admission Director and admissions team with projects as needed.
• Second staff Free Support Group and webinars as needed.
• Conduct meal supports.
• Conduct PreAdmissions Consults.

Who You Are:

• Experience required in Psychology Social Work Mental Health Field etc.
• Experience with MS Excel PowerPoint and Word.

• Exceptional customer service skills; good listener excellent followup and followthrough and willing to support and help others.

• Diligent efficient motivated extremely well organized and proactive.
• A positive ‘cando!’ attitude.
• Must be a great communicator and a team player with a passion for Eating Disorders!
• Previous experience working in the mental health field and /or eating disorders is a plus.
