NW Deployment Build Lead

We are looking to hire a motivated Build Lead to join our growing Infrastructure Delivery team. The role encompasses end-to-end ownership of medium to large-scale Data Center deployments including migrations new sites and new regions. This role includes:
Initial equipment and resource planning installation and validation through capacity turn up.
Planning and working with a wide range of project stakeholders to determine device and cabling requirements scheduling resources to meet project timelines engage external vendors and continuous status reporting.
Installation of racking and stacking networking devices running and patching cabling and configuring devices using automation tools and the command line interface.
Validation device troubleshooting and stress testing prior to capacity delivery.
Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working autonomously is detail oriented possesses strong written and verbal communication skills as well as being competent in all aspects of installation and troubleshooting of networking hardware software and fiber connectivity. This position requires that you will work with minimum supervision to assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our data center deployments as we expand.

Work alongside internal customers to facilitate project planning determine cabling requirements and define execution plan in association with our Network Engineering and TPMs (Technical Program Managers)

Scheduling resources to meet project timelines engaging external vendors and continuous status reporting

Racking & stacking networking devices running and patching cabling configuring devices using internal tools troubleshooting and validating through capacity turn up

Create comprehensive documentation about the completed deployment for internal use and handover to operations team

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field
- Experience in computer networking
- Experience working with Linux operating systems
- Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair

- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system
- Bachelors degree or experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies
- Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear cable management hot/cold aisle containment)
- Can work in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines
