Head of Finance & Controlling, BestDrive Norway (mfd) Executive (based in Oslo Norway)

We are looking for a Head of Finance & Controlling to lead and further develop finance accounting controlling and risk management for a nationwide retail organization with strong growth ambitions.

In this role you are a trusted financial advisor to senior management and the Board and a key contributor to strategic and operational decision-making as part og the management team.

Key responsibilities:

As Head of Finance & Controlling you will:

• Take overall responsibility for finance accounting controlling cash and risk management
• Lead budgeting forecasting and high-quality monthly reporting
• Drive profit-oriented business steering through strong analysis KPIs and insights
• Ensure compliance with legal statutory and group requirements
• Lead and develop a finance organization with direct leadership responsibility
• Support strategic initiatives such as integration M&A activities and network development
• Act as a key sparring partner to the Managing Director and part of management team

Qualifications :

• University degree in business management (or a Masters in Economics) or equivalent qualification.
• 6 years of experience in an accounting and/or controlling function preferably in a retail organization or similar
• Strong business understanding
• Proven leadership experience with a good knowhow to build an effective team build accountability and drive performance. 
• Experience with budgeting reporting cash management and internal controls.
• Experience in leading strategic projects (M&A or Integration) and working in multinational environment is considered as an advantage
• Fluent English in an international matrix environment; Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is a strong advantage.
