As part of Rio Tintos transformation agenda Rio Tinto Procurement (RTP) is accelerating its focus on delivering material sustainable spend reductions. This role is responsible for coordinating and supporting the delivery of RTPs global savings targets working across RTP Product Groups and Functions to ensure aligned execution and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager Transformation the role will:

  • Drive a growth mindset and foster collaborative ways of working to drive inclusivity performance excellence and cost reduction across RTP and the broader business.

  • Coordinate delivery of RTP spend reduction targets working with implementation leads to prioritise track and realise value.

  • Engage Product Groups and Functions to unlock opportunities and align RTP support to accelerate value delivery.

  • Generate insights and performance reporting to track delivery identify risks and shape pipeline development.

  • Support onboarding and mobilisation of transformation resources to strengthen delivery capability.

  • Own data analysis and reporting outputs for senior leadership and Group Transformation Office including development of materials for strategic updates.

  • Partner with RTP PMO team to ensure accurate initiative tracking clear accountabilities and robust reporting outcomes.

  • Apply a strong delivery mindset constructively challenge to drive accountability and outcomes.

  • Promote a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement.

You are a highly capable professional with strong commercial analysis expertise. You bring experience in leading and driving large scale transformation underpinned by solid program management capabilities. You excel at stakeholder management confidently presenting insights and influencing senior leaders to drive alignment decisions and outcomes.
