Ribbit builds and operates self-flying airplanes designed for challenging environments. Our autonomous technology performs gate-to-gate flight and handles emergencies without the need for an onboard pilot or special airport infrastructure. Founded in 2020 by Canadian pilots and aerospace engineers our mission is to make air transportation accessible to everyone starting with the worlds most remote austere and contested regions underserved by traditional piloted 2023 we flew Canadas first hands-free round-trip flightnow a routine occurrence at select airports. Our work is guided by the recognition that transportation underpins human rights: from the sovereign right to defend to the right to food security. We are a contractor of record to the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) Department of National Defence/Canadian Armed Forces (DND/CAF) and other government departments exploring dual-use autonomy for public safety and defence applications. We also have a backlog of interest from remote grocery stores and global humanitarian groups worth more than $73M/yr in future air freight services. Our long-term goal is to serve both cargo and passenger travel at large.

Position Overview
As a Business Operations / Office Manager (exact title will be tailored to successful applicant/s) you will:
- Work closely with the President & COO to manage Ribbits organizational machinery; keep us running smoothly as we grow!
- Manage recurring tasks and optimize processes spanning finances HR legal IT purchasing marketing and other core business functions
- Assist project management and other special initiatives as needed
- Be given trust and ownership to fulfill critical support functions that directly impact Ribbit our customers and our partners
- Have the opportunity to grow within the company as we increase in size

Your key objectives will include:
- Support customer and vendor managemente.g. processing basic paperwork preparing invoices and claims sourcing quotes purchasing
- Support recurring financese.g. payroll bookkeeping external reporting and filings budgeting
- Coordinate people and eventse.g. arranging meetings and visits booking travel and logistics organizing team socials
- Manage general office resources facilities IT infrastructuree.g. email office software internal tracking systems
- Take on unique or special tasks and projects as needed from coordinating media requests to proofreading proposals/presentations
- Optional but highly desired: manage our social media accounts and outbound content

- No. of Positions: 1
- Duration: Permanent Full-Time starting Summer 2026
- Base Compensation: 60K to 80K salaried
- This is a hybrid role involving mostly remote work with occasional in-person activitiesyou must be in the Greater Toronto Area or willing to relocate

Qualifications
As the ideal candidate you are a generalist with a strong attitude and meet the following requirements:
- Jack/Jill of all trades; no job is beyond or below you; you enjoy having a diverse set of jobs within the company
- Passionate about operational excellenceachieving results efficiently with a desire for continuous improvement
- Knowledge of one or more areas of business operationse.g. BD finance HR IT purchasing etc.
- 2 years of experience working in a general business administration/operations role
- High attention to detail and taking pride in achieving a job well done
- Ability to learn new business skills and knowledge as required
- Ability to travel for occasional conferences or other major events - expect 2-4 weeks per year
- Hold a college diploma or university degree in a relevant area such as business administration finance accounting science or engineering
Preferred and bonus qualifications include:
- Experience working in a similar role at a startup small business or growing company
- Experience in social media marketing and/or graphic design
You also possess the soft skills to work in a high-stakes fast-paced tight-knit company such as:
