Dates: Fall 2026 August 30 2026 - December 31 2026.

Job Description:

Under the supervision and in collaboration with the course coordinator the teaching assistant will help engage and teach nursing students on Legal Ethical and Professional Practice Issues by reviewing course content leading remote workshops participating in student evaluations and implementing the course plan as developed.

The remote workshops are currently booked on the following dates. The teaching assistant is expected to be available to support facilitation on these dates:

  • Wednesday September 10th
  • Wednesday October 8th
  • Wednesday November 12th

The TA will be available for student questions and may support course coordinator with office hours. Assistance for facilitation of online workshops is expected. Student contact is virtual with the assistance of online tools such as myCourses Zoom etc.

Salary: $38.46/hour

Qualifications:

Current Masters or Doctoral student at McGill.

Bioethics and Health care ethics training & knowledge expected.

Graduate teaching experience is preferred and an asset.

Previous experience as a TA.

Facilitation experience in workshops & discussions.

Aptitudes in managing technology an asset.

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Bilingual in French & English Preferred.
