Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skill

• Storage Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong L3 administration and engineering expertise across Dell EMC platforms
• (Unity PowerScale PowerStore vplex metronode and brocade switches).

• Advanced knowledge of storage clustering failover mechanisms and disaster recovery replication topologies.

• Automation: Hands-on experience building storage infrastructure workflows.

• Cloud Integration: Practical working knowledge of cloud fundamentals focusing on hybrid storage and compute integration.

• Proven track record of cross-functional teamwork with network compute and application stakeholders.

• Basic understanding on building/automation of storage infrastructure workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide technical support for mission-critical enterprise storage environments and maintain SLAs.

Execute continuous storage performance tuning block/file resource allocation and proactive capacity planning.

Lead definitive root-cause analysis (RCA) for complex storage outages and implement permanent preventive fixes.

Resolve multi-layered I/O bottlenecks spanning storage arrays SAN/NAS network fabrics and virtualization layers.

Automate routine provisioning pipelines configuration management and daily operational tasks.

Lead end-to-end hardware and software lifecycles:

executing non-disruptive tech refreshes code upgrades and microcode patching.

Plan and execute complex zero-downtime data migrations between legacy platforms next-gen arrays and cloud targets.

Produce and maintain definitive technical blueprints architecture diagrams and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24x7 production support.
