Job Summary
Schedule- 2pm-12am 4 days a week (PLEASE NOTE HOURS)
In some occasions time could extend up to 6:00am pending load completion. That would not be expected weekly.
They will be helping with troubleshooting if there are issues with the Data Transfers at night along with having dev tasks.

Overview The Business Intelligence Data Transformation (BIDT) and Data Movement (BIDM) teams are seeking a Software Engineer Contractor to expand capacity and ensure delivery of business commitments including revenue-impacting initiatives. This role supports the operationalization of a cloud-based Lakehouse data platform and ensures enterprise data is accurate highly available and performant.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Support and enhance ETL and data load processes that refresh the operational data warehouse nightly
Ensure enterprise data is accurate highly available and optimized for performance
Develop and maintain processes for extracting and loading data across internal and external systems
Contribute to the design and optimization of data pipelines within a cloud Lakehouse architecture Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile (Scrum) environment
Participate in automated testing and test-driven development practices
Perform verbal interviews and data gathering activities to support preliminary analysis application modifications and enhancements within the Software Development Life Cycle under limited supervision
Deliver small program changes or projects lasting 1 to 4 weeks
Modify existing programs that require moderate redesign
Partner with business analysts and customers to resolve issues and plan for future needs
Work with users to understand system usage and enhancement requirements
Analyze design and develop new application systems using technical and analytical expertise
Under limited supervision create and modify complex application programs including testing debugging documentation and maintenance
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Mathematics or a related technical field
3 5 years of relevant professional experience
