Position Overview
Diverse Agile Solutions (DAS) is seeking a highly skilled AEM Website Developer to support the design development enhancement and maintenance of enterprise-level web platforms built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The ideal candidate will possess strong front-end and back-end AEM development experience a deep understanding of modern web technologies and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule based in Adelphi Maryland.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain websites and web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Build and customize AEM components templates workflows and services
- Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and modern frameworks
- Integrate AEM with third-party systems APIs and enterprise applications
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers business analysts and content authors to deliver high-quality digital experiences
- Implement reusable components and scalable web solutions following best practices
- Troubleshoot debug and optimize website performance and functionality
- Support content migration authoring workflows and publishing processes
- Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards security policies and coding standards
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning stand-ups code reviews and retrospectives
- Create and maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of web development experience
- 3 years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development experience
- Strong experience with:
- AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service
- Java OSGi Sling and JCR
- HTL/Sightly
- HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and jQuery
- React Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks
- RESTful APIs and integrations
- Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products
- Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud environments
- Experience implementing accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience supporting federal or enterprise-scale environments
- AEM Developer Certification preferred
