Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mitigation Manager to lead our restoration operations ensuring efficient and high-quality response to property damage incidents. The Mitigation Manager will oversee the mitigation process coordinate with clients and team members and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role is vital in delivering exceptional service in water damage restoration fire damage repair mold remediation and other mitigation services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the restoration industry excellent leadership skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mitigation projects from initial assessment through completion ensuring timely and effective restoration services.

• Coordinate with clients insurance adjusters and team members to develop comprehensive mitigation plans.

• Oversee the use of hand tools power tools and specialized equipment for cleaning demolition and restoration tasks.

• Ensure all mitigation activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards including asbestos abatement when necessary.

• Manage inventory of restoration supplies such as cleaning agents mold remediation materials and construction tools.

• Train and mentor mitigation technicians on proper procedures for water damage restoration fire damage repair mold remediation and asbestos abatement.

• Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets company standards and client expectations.

• Maintain detailed documentation of all mitigation activities for project tracking and insurance purposes.

• Promote a culture of safety efficiency and customer satisfaction within the team.

• Stay current with industry trends and certifications to enhance service quality.

Skills

• Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on mitigation services such as water damage restoration fire restoration mold remediation and asbestos abatement.

• Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating software preferred

• IICRC WRT Certification Required

• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques carpet cleaning methods and construction processes related to restoration work.

• Proficiency in using hand tools power tools and specialized equipment for mitigation tasks.

• Familiarity with industry standards for safety procedures and environmental regulations.

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate team members effectively.

• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and project management.

• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients insurance companies and team members.

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in emergency response situations.
