Set amongst beautifully maintained grounds in Gordonvale PRCC is a not-for-profit residential aged care facility committed to delivering exceptional clinical care and quality outcomes for our residents.
We are currently seeking an experienced and confident Clinical Care Lead to join our leadership team. This is a key clinical leadership position suited to a highly capable Registered Nurse who can step into a fast-paced environment and provide strong operational and clinical direction from day one.
This role is not designed for someone taking their first step into leadership. We are looking for a proven clinical leader with demonstrated experience managing teams driving compliance and leading high-quality clinical care outcomes within aged care.
About the RoleReporting to the Quality & Clinical Manager the Clinical Care Lead will oversee the coordination and delivery of clinical care across the facility while supporting and mentoring the broader clinical team.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in:
- Leading and supporting Registered Nurses Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers
- Driving compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Coordinating clinical care planning and case management
- Supporting clinical governance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Managing complex clinical situations and escalations
- Promoting a positive professional and resident-focused culture
- Assisting with change management and operational improvements
- Supporting staff development mentoring and education
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years experience within aged care or complex clinical environments
- Previous leadership or management experience within residential aged care
- Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance requirements
- Proven ability to lead teams manage competing priorities and drive accountability
- Excellent communication conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing clinical documentation care planning and compliance systems
- A calm solutions-focused leadership style with the ability to mentor and inspire others
- Availability to support after hours as required
- Post graduate qualifications in Dementia Behavioural Management or Leadership
- Experience leading change management initiatives
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement and accreditation processes
- Experience fostering positive workplace culture and team engagement
