Position Summary

This person will perform several tasks associated with maintaining plastic injection molding process equipment related to injection molding machines servo robots grinders trimming equipment loader systems facilities support and other.


Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:



Technician skilled duties:

Injection molding process knowledge - i.e. pressures velocity melt fill time ejector bars etc.
Start and stop of injection molding equipment.
Install/remove molds trim dies grinders and other auxiliary equipment to make plastic parts.
Troubleshoot correct repair and optimize injection molding machines robots (move/initialize) trim dies and all support equipment for molding operations (thermolators loader system grinders conveyors etc). The individual will respond to various equipment conditions analyze the situation for root cause and apply the appropriate skill to resolve the issue.
Operate fork truck to complete tasks such as pulling and setting molds changing trim dies etc.
Read record and monitor instructions formulas and processing graphs of machine operational data.
Occasionally assist with preventative maintenance on molds and equipment.
Demonstrate and promote safe work practices and standards consistent with all OSHA and Energizer internal safety policies and procedures including lock out tag out (LOTO)
Interact and assist colleagues to help them with molding problems.
Respectful communication with colleagues and management.
