Full-time ten month position serving Elementary School students as a Special Education teacher. The successful candidate must possess or be eligible to hold a license issued by the Virginia Department of Education with a Special Education - General Curriculumteaching endorsement. This is a fully benefited position. A successful candidate must be willing to provide intervention and instruction to assist students with disabilities to develop appropriate behavior coping skills and social skills. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge and use of appropriate learning skills activities equipment and materials to meet the needs of students with low frustration tolerance and intensivesocial/emotional/behavioral needs. Successful candidates will demonstrate knowledge and willingness to collaborate with division level support staff such as Behavior Specialists and/or BCBAs.
