Nurse Educator
Role Overview:
The Nurse Educator is dedicated to the continuous professional development onboarding and training of the nursing workforce. They assess educational needs design curriculum and implement training programs to maintain high clinical competencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive orientation programs for newly hired and international nurses.
- Conduct regular clinical competency assessments and identify knowledge or skill gaps across units.
- Develop curriculum and deliver training on new medical technologies clinical protocols and safety practices.
- Support nursing staff in preparing for professional certifications and ongoing licensing requirements (like SCFHS).
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Education: Masters degree in Nursing Education or an advanced Clinical Nursing track is mandatory.
- Experience: Management or coordinator-level experience within a hospital education department is mandatory. Similar experience as a clinical instructor or educator is highly welcomed.
- Licensing: Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) registration is highly preferred.
