Onsite 3-Month Contract Night Shift
Pay Rate: $68.79/hour
Role Overview
A healthcare facility in Warwick RI is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a Medical/Surgical Float Pool assignment. This 3-month onsite contract offers night shift scheduling and the opportunity to work across multiple medical and surgical units in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care across medical and surgical units
- Monitor assess and document patient conditions and treatment responses
- Administer medications treatments and physician-ordered interventions
- Coordinate care with physicians specialists and interdisciplinary teams
- Support discharge planning and patient education
- Adapt quickly to varying unit workflows and patient populations
Requirements
- Active Rhode Island RN license required
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience required
- Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work night shifts and float between units
- Strong clinical assessment communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced healthcare environments
Nice-to-Haves
- Critical care experience preferred
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
- Previous float pool or traveler nursing experience
- Experience with EHR and hospital documentation systems
Compensation
- $68.79/hour
- 36 hours per week
- 3-month contract assignment
- Night shift schedule
- Exposure to multiple clinical settings and patient populations
Schedule
- MondayFriday
- 7:00 PM7:30 AM EST
- 12-hour night shifts
- Float pool assignments based on clinical needs
