The Opportunity

As a Electrical Engineeron the Vascular R&D team you will contribute to the design development and testing of next-generation intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) systems.

This role ishighly hands-on and systems-focused working at the intersection ofembedded electronics firmware and instrumentation to build custom laboratory systems automate R&D experiments and collect valuable data to drive engineering decisions for next-generation products.

This position is best suited to engineers who enjoy building and debugging systems from the ground up and iterating quickly to solve complex sometimes ambiguous multidisciplinary problems. You will collaborate with other electrical software and mechanical engineers to develop prototypes and to continuously improve characterization methods. This position works out of ourSt. Paul MNlocation.

What Youll Work On

  • Translate experimental goals into practical test setups with reliable data collection.
  • Design build and iterate on custom laboratory and automated test systems including embedded controllers motion or actuation elements and data acquisition.
  • Develop and debugembedded firmware (C/C) and supporting software(Python ) .
  • Design bring-up and debug circuit boards in the lab.
  • Integrate hardware and software components into reliable systems for device characterization.
  • Collaborate with others on the R&D team to add features refine prototypes and improve performance.
  • Collect review and interpret experimental and prototype performance data; prepare technical summaries and present findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Document designs experiments and results to support engineering and regulatory processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant hands-on engineering experience
  • Experience working withembedded systems firmware or hardwaresoftware integrated systems.
  • Strong problemsolving skills with an experimental systemslevel mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively with partial information and translate ideas into working systems without detailed requirements.

The base pay for this position is

$61300.00 $122700.00

In specific locations the pay range may vary from the range posted.
