Physician - General CardiologistThe University of Kansas Health System is expanding and seeking aGeneral Cardiologist with cardiac MRI expertiseto join the dynamic team at our St. Francis Heart & Vascular Center in beautiful Topeka Kansas.This is an incredible opportunity to become part of a well-established and growing practice while enjoying the resources of a renowned academic health system.
About the Position:
Inpatient/Outpatient Mix
EMR: Epic
Single-Specialty Group of 9 Cardiologists 8 APC and support staff (RN LPN CAN MA secretarial and front office)
Clinical practice plus dedicated admin time no research nor teaching required
Procedure Rooms and Testing Available On-Site: Nuclear Stress Echo Vascular Sonography Coumadin Clinic Cardiac Rehab Vein Clinic
Referrals from Primary Care and Multiple Specialists
Schedule: varies some weekend requirement.
Daily Patient Load: Clinical 2-3 patients per hour; Inpatient varies
Call: 1:6 day rotation (5 per month) telephone only and with excess call pay

Minimum Qualifications:
MD/DO or equivalent
ABIM Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist
Fellowship Training inCardiology/CardiovascularDiseases
Cardiology Fellows interested in a clinical setting are welcome to apply
Eligible for licensure in Kansas
J-1 waiver support via State Conrad 30 ARC DRA HHS based on location and specialty.
