Duration: 6-Week Contract

- 5x8 Hour Shifts
- 08:00 AM 04:30 PM
- 42.5 Hours per Week
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a short-term contract opportunity in a high-volume outpatient cardiovascular clinic setting. The role involves performing advanced nuclear cardiology imaging procedures including stress testing and PET/CT studies while ensuring high standards of patient care imaging quality and radiation safety compliance.
This position requires strong independent clinical judgment the ability to manage a fast-paced workflow and expertise in outpatient nuclear medicine procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging and cardiac stress testing procedures
- Conduct PET/CT stress imaging studies
- Prepare position and monitor patients during imaging procedures
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and observe patient responses
- Operate nuclear medicine and imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety and patient protection protocols
- Produce high-quality diagnostic imaging for physician interpretation
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with cardiology and clinical care teams
- Monitor patients throughout stress testing procedures
- Support daily workflow in a high-volume outpatient environment
- Work independently within the nuclear medicine department
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience (within the last 3 years) in a clinical setting
- Strong outpatient nuclear medicine experience required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- English proficiency (read write speak)
Required Certifications
- CNMT certification or ARRT (N) certification
Preferred Experience
- Nuclear cardiology experience
- PET/CT stress testing experience
- High-volume outpatient nuclear imaging background
