As a Volunteer Coordinator youll lead and support our hospice and home health volunteer program ensuring volunteers are welltrained supported and meaningfully connected to patient and family needs.
What Youll Do
- Recruit screen train and assign hospice and home health volunteers
- Coordinate volunteer orientation education and ongoing support
- Maintain volunteer records documentation and required reports
- Assign volunteers based on patient and family needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Supervise and evaluate volunteers and serve as liaison between volunteers and care teams
- Ensure compliance with CHAP Medicare and organizational standards

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Social Sciences or related field (or comparable experience)
- 1 year of supervisory experience in healthcare (hospice preferred)
- Experience working with volunteer programs
- Knowledge of hospice philosophy and endoflife care
- Valid drivers license and commitment to ethical compliant practice

- Compensation Range: $22.87 $36.59 per hour
