Assistant Service Manager

At Berwick City you will step into a high-volume Service Department working across Nissan GWM and Jeep. The pace is high the days move quickly and strong leadership is what keeps everything moving.

As Assistant Service Manager you will work closely with the Service Manager to support the day to day operation of the department lead the front of house team and help drive both customer experience and department performance.

You will play a key role in supporting the overall performance of the Service Department helping manage workflow team direction and customer experience across the day.

From the moment the doors open it is about staying across the operation. Supporting the Service Advisors assisting with escalations coordinating with the workshop and helping ensure everything runs to schedule.

You will be heavily involved in the day-to-day leadership of the front-of-house team providing guidance support and direction while still remaining hands-on within the operation.

It is a fast- moving environment where organisation communication and the ability to make decisions quickly makes all the difference.

By the end of the day success comes down to a well supported team strong operational flow and customers who leave feeling looked after properly.

You have experience working within a dealership Service Department and understand the pace pressure and expectations that come with it.

Previous experience as a Senior Service Advisor Assistant Service Manager or in a leadership-focused Service role will be highly regarded.

You are confident leading from the front supporting a team and handling customer conversations professionally. You stay calm under pressure communicate clearly and know how to keep people accountable while maintaining a positive team environment.

You are organised proactive and capable of balancing customer experience with operational performance.

To be successful in this role you will hold a current and valid drivers licence.

Most importantly you are motivated to perform support your team and continue building your leadership career in the automotive industry.
