As the Administrator Support in our Pre-Assessment department youll bring experience of administration in a complex fast-paced environment demonstrable call handling skills and excellent IT skills. You will have the ability to provide a professional courteous sensitive and empathetic approach as well as be an enthusiastic highly motivated and flexible -ordination of a small but busy department will be the key focus of this role enabling succinct patient journeys through the department and onwards
As our Team Administrator you will:
- Provide administrative assistance to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Organise and maintain files and records both physical and digital.
- Manage calendars appointments and meeting arrangements.
- Handle phone calls emails and correspondence.
- Input and update data in relevant systems.
- Respond to enquiries and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Prepare meeting materials take minutes and track action items.
- To be a commercially minded person with drive and plans in place to ensure success.
- Be responsible for effective prospecting and managing opportunities throughout the entire bookings process utilising customer relationship and systems effectively.
- To champion the customer experience in the hospital and work with colleagues to deliver a strong customer focused mind-set to bring the best of Nuffield Health to every customer.
- Support the day to day running of the department alongside the HOD & Clinical Lead
Key Skills
- High proficiency in booking systems EPR/EHR platforms and referral management tools
- Confident using spreadsheets dashboards and reporting tools
- Ability to troubleshoot system issues and guide others
- Understanding how data flows through the Pre-Assessment pathway
- Assessing urgency and risk to prioritise cases appropriately
- Knowing when to escalate to clinical staff
- Balancing competing deadlines without compromising accuracy
