A Housekeeping Supervisor with Embassy Suites Hotels is responsible for managing Housekeeping administrative paperwork and inspecting designated guest rooms and/or public areas in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing
As a Housekeeping Supervisor you would be responsible inspecting designated guest rooms and/or public areas in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Inspect rooms verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms and enter into property management system (as needed)

• Complete work orders as needed

• Perform Room Attendant Janitorial Laundry Attendant and/or Houseperson duties as needed

• Assist in training new hires as needed

• Respond to special guest requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner

• Conduct department pre-shifts

• Open housekeeping: check room inventory assign rooms to room attendants

• Manage lost and found program

• Review team members timecards review payroll reports and create work schedules

• Ensure stock rooms and carts are maintained with proper supplies

• Place orders for housekeeping operating supplies and office supplies

• Respond to guest assistance to resolve issues

• Prepare VIP rooms including setting up special amenities

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry team members to ensure productivity and operational effectiveness

• Review CRM Best Guest Reports to ensure Honors recognition

• Participate in Labor Management calls and support the manager to ensure labor standards are met

• Address team member issues and do coach/counsel as needed
