Finance Manager, Digital and Emerging Market Payment Finance

Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to play a key role on the Digital and Emerging Market (DEP) Payment Finance team primarily supporting Amazons Mexico payment business including Co-branded Credit & Debit Card Installments Instant Payments Cash Payment Products Cost of Payment and other local payment products. The person will be part of a team responsible for short-to-long term financial planning and reporting controllership and analytical support for Senior Business Management.

This position will be a key risk/controllership gateway for the payments business and requires a candidate with strong communication and leadership skills. A portion of the time will be spent on ad hoc analysis to support the growing business needs. The finance team works closely with the business teams so any candidate should be able to work well with cross functional teams. Candidates must have superior attention to detail project and team management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously. Strong analytical skills are required.

- 8 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3 years of advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots lookups etc.) experience
- 6 years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 6 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 6 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 6 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent

- 6 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- 6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6 years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience
- 3 years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience
- MBA or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL MSAccess Essbase or Cognos) and providing recommendations based on results of ad hoc analyses to management for strategic decision-making
