DescriptionThe Oglethorpe University Physics program is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach introductoryalgebra- and calculus- based physics labs during the Fall 2026 semester. The lab sections enroll nomore than 16 students so the learning environment is ideal for one-on-one faculty-studentinteractions. Applicants will be expected to foster an inclusive learning environment by engagingin and promoting diverse teaching learning and mentoring communities. Adjunct faculty willreceive mentorship and support from faculty within the Physics program. Laboratory courses meet for one three-hour period each week in the afternoon or evening. Thesemester runs from August 24 to December 4 with final exams in the following week. Finalgrades for the semester are due on Tuesday December 15.
