Job Summary

Schedule: Part time - 29 hours/week 7am-3:30pm Monday - Friday Every other weekend rotation
Shift Premiums: 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm $1.00 Weekend (Fri 10:31 pm - Sun 11:00 pm) $1.00

What Youll Do:
As a Launderer youll play an important role in helping keep our community clean comfortable and well-stocked for residents each this role youll support daily laundry operations by sorting washing drying folding and organizing linens and clothing to ensure residents and team members have the supplies they need. Youll operate laundry equipment safely follow proper cleaning and infection control procedures and inspect items for quality to ensure they are clean fresh and ready for use.

You may also assist with general housekeeping support as needed including cleaning resident rooms and common areas sanitizing surfaces replenishing supplies and helping maintain a welcoming environment throughout the community.

Key Responsibilities


  • Support Laundry Operations Sort wash dry fold hang and organize resident clothing linens and other laundry items.
  • Operate Equipment Safely Use washers dryers steamers and other laundry equipment according to established procedures.
  • Maintain Quality Standards Inspect clothing and linens for stains damage or quality concerns before and after washing.
  • Follow Infection Control Procedures Properly handle soiled or contaminated laundry in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Keep Supplies Stocked Maintain an adequate supply of clean linens and notify leadership when laundry supplies need to be reordered.
  • Maintain a Clean Work Area Keep the laundry area equipment filters vents and surfaces clean and organized.
  • Assist with Housekeeping Support Help clean resident rooms bathrooms common areas and hallways as needed.
  • Complete General Cleaning Tasks Support vacuuming mopping dusting trash removal linen changes and supply replenishment.
  • Provide Friendly Service Respond to resident guest and team member requests with professionalism and care.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise


  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience as a housekeeper or cleaner in a long-term care facility or medical environment required.
  • Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.
