We are seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Director to join our team at the newest Stellar Senior Living community in Tucson Arizona. Your Role
Our Maintenance Director oversees keeping our residents living areas and the broader community well-kept and serviced to a high standard. Day-to-day the Maintenance Director will:
- Perform general maintenance work including replacing light bulbs and repairing electrical plumbing HVAC and appliances
- Prepare resident apartments for new occupants through painting cleaning carpets and general maintenance either directly or by leading a team to achieve the result
- Maintain the grounds by mowing sweeping trimming trees and shrubs and ensuring the exterior is always presentable
- Conduct daily inspections of the building and respond promptly to resident requests in a polite professional manner
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules and life-safety system checks
- Maintain inventory of tools supplies and safety equipment
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade certifications a plus
- Prior maintenance leadership experience ideally in senior living healthcare hospitality or multi-unit residential
- Working knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and general building systems
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Pleasant friendly and detail-oriented comfortable interacting with residents and families daily
