Position Overview
CGI is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Technical Consultant to join the Application Development Team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R11i/R12 environments and will be responsible for delivering custom developments minor enhancements integrations and optimizations to improve system functionality and business operations.
The role requires close collaboration with business users and functional teams to design and implement scalable technical solutions across Oracle EBS Finance HRMS and Procurement modules.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Lead the development of minor enhancements and custom solutions for Oracle EBS modules including Finance HRMS and Procurement.
Design develop and implement RICE (Reports Interfaces Conversions Extensions) components within Oracle EBS.
Write and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries and develop Oracle Forms Oracle Reports and BI Publisher reports.
Customize and personalize Oracle Application Framework (OAF) to extend platform capabilities based on business requirements.
Work on Oracle APIs REST/SOAP APIs and file-based integrations to enable seamless integration with third-party systems.
Participate in the design development and testing of Oracle EBS technical solutions to ensure quality and performance standards.
Troubleshoot technical issues and implement fixes while maintaining application stability and minimizing business disruption.
Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to understand enhancement requests and propose scalable technical solutions.
Support Oracle EBS upgrades patching and enhancement activities with minimal system downtime.
Ensure all developments comply with internal standards best practices and security guidelines.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation including solution designs configurations and development specifications.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills
Minimum 8 years of experience as an Oracle EBS Technical Consultant.
Strong expertise in Oracle EBS R11i and R12 environments.
Solid hands-on experience in:
oSQL/PLSQL
oOracle Forms
oOracle Reports
oBI Publisher
Hands-on experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) personalization customization and extensions.
Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS APIs REST/SOAP APIs and file-based integrations.
Experience working with Oracle EBS modules including:
oFinance
oProcurement
oHRMS
Proven expertise in developing and implementing RICE components.
Familiarity with Oracle EBS upgrades and patching activities.
Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills
Experience integrating Oracle EBS with third-party applications and payment gateways.
Understanding of Oracle EBS security best practices and data management.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
