JOB SUMMARY:
Assist the ESY teacher providing support services to qualifying K-8 students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be Orton Gillingham trained and/or familiar with specific student intervention and educational needs regarding transition and implementation of behavior support plan. Previous experience with students with special needs.
Education: Two years of college associates degree or passing score on a para-professional exam in reading writing and math as required by federal law.

Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but basic written or oral instructions in English. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee may be required to sit at a desk and use a computer for long periods of time.

Salary Range 9 of the TBD 2026-27 Classified Wage Schedule ($20.67- $26.30 per hour).
