What Youll Do

HR Leadership & Strategy

  • Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals
  • Foster a positive inclusive and engaging workplace culture
  • Develop and implement HR policies programs and best practices

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with all federal state and local employment laws (EEO ADA FMLA OSHA etc.)
  • Monitor regulatory changes and advise leadership accordingly
  • Investigate employee concerns and provide recommendations

Human Resources Operations

  • Oversee recruitment onboarding employee relations and retention
  • Manage HR systems (HRIS) employee records and payroll coordination
  • Maintain organizational charts and employee directory

Talent Acquisition & Development

  • Lead recruitment efforts from job posting through hiring
  • Manage onboarding orientation and offboarding processes
  • Coordinate training professional development and succession planning

Performance & Employee Relations

  • Design and administer performance evaluation processes
  • Provide coaching and support to employees and supervisors
  • Promote employee engagement and a positive work environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Administer compensation programs and benefits
  • Support payroll budgeting and HR financial tracking
  • Oversee benefits enrollment and vendor coordination

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Public Administration or related field
  • 4 years of HR experience
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong communication leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP or similar certification
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
  • Background in local government
