Job Summary
Purpose of Position:
The CRE Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of commercial real estate relationships in the greater New England area with a focus on Massachusetts Connecticut and Rhode Island.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of commercial real estate loans and depository relationships.
- Identify potential lending opportunities and cross-sell bank products.
- Underwrite new loan requests analyzing the propertys expected performance as well as the borrowers financial capacity and creditworthiness.
- Prepare transaction proposals for approval and present to the appropriate approval authorities per the Credit Policy.
- Negotiate with borrowers complete loan documentation and negotiate loan closings.
- Work with internalclosingand external legal counsel on new transaction documents as well as periodic deal amendments.
- Represent the Bank at industry conventions and customer-sponsored events to promote the Banksplatform andimage.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Knowledge Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience inacommercial real estaterelationship manger role.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial credit analysis loan underwriting and account analysis.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal/written communication interpersonal and supervisory skills.
- Core competency in all compliance/Patriot Act provisions.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient with software programs (Microsoft Office Suite Salesforce Costar Argus Moodys CreditLens).
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this role is between $165000.00 $195000.00. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors such as: training transferrable skills work experience business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
