Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our Procurement team on a 6 month fixed term basis.
Reporting to the Lead Procurement Manager you will be partnering with the business primarily Experian Consumer Services managing marketing and media spend and BPO.
Responsibilities:
- Run a competitive tender process with multiple vendors using our sourcing platform..
- Engage and negotiate complex commercial and legal contract terms
- Collaboration with our Procurement Legal representatives and in-house solicitors to assess risk amongst contracts on behalf of Experian.
- Maintain auditable records.
- Actively engage with wider and global procurement teams on process engineering activities and using technology to drive automation where possible including the use of AI tools.
Qualifications :
- Procurement experience ideally in a regulated environment. Any marketing or media procurement experience is beneficial.
- Knowledge of UK contract law
- A confident and experienced negotiator with experience in handling detailed negotiations
- Experience building relationships with stakeholders
- Experience of working with legal teams and solicitors
- Any exposure to AI is beneficial
