Buyer 6 month FTC

We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our Procurement team on a 6 month fixed term basis.

Reporting to the Lead Procurement Manager you will be partnering with the business primarily Experian Consumer Services managing marketing and media spend and BPO.

Responsibilities:

• Run a competitive tender process with multiple vendors using our sourcing platform..
• Engage and negotiate complex commercial and legal contract terms
• Collaboration with our Procurement Legal representatives and in-house solicitors to assess risk amongst contracts on behalf of Experian.
• Maintain auditable records.
• Actively engage with wider and global procurement teams on process engineering activities and using technology to drive automation where possible including the use of AI tools.

Qualifications :

• Procurement experience ideally in a regulated environment. Any marketing or media procurement experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of UK contract law 
• A confident and experienced negotiator with experience in handling detailed negotiations
• Experience building relationships with stakeholders
• Experience of working with legal teams and solicitors
• Any exposure to AI is beneficial
