The Opportunity and Role Responsibilities

This Specialist Family Violence Practitioner- Victim Survivor Responses role will work directly with victim survivor of family violence who have been identified as suitable for a brief intermediate or intensive specialist family violence response who have been referred via local intake points or via orange door.

This role will complete risk assessment with victim survivors and children in accordance with Victorias Multi Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) collaboration with victim survivor identify specialist family violence needs assessments which address the relevant domains outlined in the Case Management Program Requirements (Family Safety Victoria). Further be able to provide support to victim survivor navigating complex service system responses

About You

The successful candidate will hold a minimum Bachelor level qualification in Social Work or recent employment in the family violence sector or equivalency met through the Rec 209 - 7 Equivalency Principles in line with the minimum mandatory qualification requirements. Previous experience working with family violence victim survivors and doing risk assessment and safety planning is desirable.
