Sabre Offer Optimization & Data Science Delivery members are part of a techno-functional team specialized in implementing and delivering Offer optimization Dynamic Pricing and Revenue management solutions for various airlines. Delivery member is acknowledged as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on these solutions models Data Science elements and business practices of Offer Optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Will be involved in end to solution implementation life cycle starting from Project Kick Off Business Process Assessment (BPA) through transition to customer care.
- Will develop a thorough understanding of the applications user interface from both functional and business process standpoint to train airline analysts and help in solution adoption into customers business processes.
- Will understand the modelling involved in the Dynamic Pricing and Offer Optimizations Products and work with Operations Research teams to deploy/finetune the models for better delivery of the solutions to Airlines.
- Will attend onsite customer meetings when required and support the project team in understanding customers business processes and requirements.
- Will identify the best practices adopted by customers during the interactions and communicate the same to Solution Management teams to enhance Revenue Optimization & Dynamic Pricing solutions
- Works collaboratively in a team environment with project managers account managers implementation and development resources to meet customer expectations regarding solution implementation issue resolution during solution adoption phase and resolution of maintenance issues / service requests post cutover.
- Will lead the data gathering process prior to solution implementation phase.
- Will lead data validation checks in the context of Revenue Optimization & Dynamic Pricing solutions at all stages of solution implementation and delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills to serve as lead conduit between developers architects designers and with external and internal customers Will help Customer care team in resolving maintenance SRs
- Demonstrates effective teamwork skills.
- Operates under general direction with minimal oversight
- Ensures that approved methods processes and tools are consistently used.
- Shall mentor/train new business analysts on the solution and processes.
- Will contribute to RFPs and Sales operations in defining Work Orders and relative costs of implementations.
Required Experience / Skills:
- Airline Offer Order Ecosystem understanding or relevant similar experience
- Airline Offer Optimization and Management knowledge and experience
- 8 years experience working in Revenue Management Pricing and associated ML and OR models for an airline using O&D revenue management solutions or similar experience
- Strong Data Analytical skills
- Ability to apply modelling and analytical skills to real world travel problems demonstrated
- Have experience with Dynamic Pricing Competitive Benchmarking Offer Optimization & Revenue Management applications.
- Experimentation Framework Design & understanding model outputs for airline business use cases
- Pricing and RM Models exposure
- Good understanding of database concepts and working knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases
- Experience with one of the travel distribution/reservation systems (Sabre Galileo Amadeus)
- Bachelors degree or equivalent technical experience strongly desired.
- Must be organized and be able to multi-task and work in all areas as needed.
- Prior experience/knowledge on Forecasting and Optimization techniques is an advantage.
- Proficient English written and oral communication skills. Command of a second language is an advantage
- Identify problems and be able to determine when appropriate escalation is required
- Must be willing to travel 30-50% of the time

- Tools : SQL Developer Compass/Studio 3T or Equivalent R or Python VBA
- DBMS: Google BQ MongoDB
- Operating Systems: UNIX Windows
