A growing healthcare organization is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support day-to-day people operations including recruiting onboarding HRIS/ATS administration benefits coordination reporting compliance and employee engagement.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized professional comfortable working with confidential information and interested in growing within the human resources field.
Key Responsibilities
- Post job openings and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers
- Support onboarding by launching tasks tracking completion and maintaining accurate new-hire files
- Serve as a primary administrator for Paylocity and assist with HRIS/ATS updates
- Maintain employee records self-service portals and HR documentation
- Provide basic HRIS support to employees and managers
- Assist with payroll batches employee data changes and record updates as needed
- Enroll new hires in benefit plans and process qualifying life events
- Review monthly insurance invoices and help resolve discrepancies with vendors or benefits administrators
- Track training completions anniversaries assessments key control logs and other HR metrics
- Build HR reports charts and process maps to support leadership and review cycles
- Coordinate trainings staff meetings and employee events including rooms materials A/V and catering
- Prepare and deliver quarterly HR updates and presentations
- Support compliance with HR policies procedures privacy standards and documentation requirements
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in human resources HRIS business administration or a related administrative role preferred
- Active HIPAA compliance credential / Training
- Strong Excel reporting data entry and documentation skills
- Experience working with HRIS ATS or payroll platforms
- Ability to write clear policies procedures reports and employee communications
- Strong communication organization follow-through and problem-solving skills
- High level of professionalism discretion and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Paylocity
- Coursework or exposure to employment law HR compliance or healthcare compliance
- Experience supporting recruiting onboarding benefits administration or HR reporting
- Additional language skills
