Architecture Intern

Join Sabey as an Architecture Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting real-world development and construction this role youll collaborate with architecture construction leasing and marketing teams while assisting with drafting renderings permit sets site visits and design documentation using Revit AutoCAD and other visualization tools. This internship is ideal for a motivated architecture student who is passionate about design eager to learn and interested in gaining exposure to a variety of commercial projects in a collaborative environment.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is based in Seattle WA and provides architectural support to the Project Team for activities associated with Sabeys development projects. As an intern youll be exposed to a variety of project types. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams leveraging your architectural training to better understand the business of Architecture.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• AutoCad/Revit Drafting and rendering with various software-may include working on; permits sets pricing packages for Sabey Construction test fits lease exhibits renderings of interior and exterior projects
• Provide general support to the architecture team. Printing and retrieving drawings working in the sample library providing documents for Leasing Property Management and Marketing
• Miscellaneous administrative support for the Architectural department
• Site visits: may include tenant improvement new ground-up construction.
• Attend meetings and engage with various stakeholders: Sabey Construction Leasing Marketing and Communications and Site Development team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time.
• Interface with technology and operate a computer.
• Ability to interact with all levels of Sabey employees and business partners must be able to build and maintain strong professional relationships
• Ability to travel on short-term trips if desired.
• Adhere to Company information security policies and standards by safeguarding confidential data protecting access credentials completing all required trainings on time and taking immediate action to report potential security threats or breaches.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Seeking Bachelors degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
• Beginning working knowledge in Revit software for creating and editing architectural drawings
• Beginning knowledge of rendering software
• Strong ability to create compelling renderings and visualizations to communicate design.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
• A passion for architecture and design demonstrated through a portfolio of relevant projects.
• Enthusiastic Learner

MINIMUM COMPETENCIES

• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook Teams etc.
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork skills.
• Working knowledge of the English language ability to demonstrate written and oral comprehension and expression.
• Developing working knowledge of Revit AutoCAD Adobe Photoshop
• Aptitude and willingness to learn and utilize AI tools and technology
