Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Technology Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our companys information systems and data as well as implementing and maintaining security protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement information security policies procedures and standards to protect the companys data and systems

- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions

- Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs for security incidents and take appropriate action to mitigate threats

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats trends and technologies and make recommendations for improvements to the companys security posture

- Collaborate with other members of the IT team to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the companys operations

- Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness

- Respond to and manage security incidents including conducting forensic investigations and reporting to management and relevant authorities

- Work with external vendors and partners to ensure the security of third-party systems and data

- Maintain and update disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the companys ability to respond to and recover from security incidents

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the real estate or financial industry

- Strong knowledge of information security principles practices and technologies

- Experience with security tools such as firewalls intrusion detection systems and vulnerability scanners

- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001 GDPR and PCI DSS

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or CISA are preferred but not required
