About this role

Carrier Climate Solutions Americas (CSA) has a role open for a Manager INDY Distribution Center to drive strategic operational and financial performance for our HVAC Distribution Center in Indianapolis IN. Partnering closely with Sales SIOP Manufacturing Supply Chain and Customer Services the Manager ensures the seamless flow of goods across the network drives operational excellence and leads largescale initiatives that support company growth customer satisfaction and longterm operations strategy.

This is an onsite role in Indianapolis IN U.S.A.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for the Distribution Center (120k sqft and 60 employees) ensuring consistent execution of receiving storage picking packing and shipping processes.
• Drive customer on-time-delivery metric aligned with customer expectations.
• Lead network optimization initiatives including capacity planning facility layout design automation and continuous improvement programs.
• Establish KPIs and performance standards that drive efficiency quality safety and cost effectiveness.
• Partner with executive leadership to shape overall operations including inventory flow and customer service expectations.
• Drive standardization of processes systems and best practices.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or Engineering.
• 5 years of progressive leadership experience in distribution logistics or supply chain operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree (MBA or related discipline) is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience leading a unionized site
• Deep knowledge of distribution center operations and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Expertise in network optimization capacity planning and process standardization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
