Forecast the sustainable Capex & Opex.

  • Operational Oversight:

Supervise daily operations monitor performance and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Accountabilities

Major Activities

Ensure the water and wastewater systems network are healthy & Operational Execution of operation and Maintenance activities

  1. Ensure uninterrupted water supply wrt quantity and quality 24 x 7
  2. Management of sewage and storm water systems to be maintained at the highest operational standards.
  3. Ensure types of maintenance activity to be carried out as per schedules.
  4. Breakdown maintenance to be carried out with ease & safety.
  5. Assist MM for documentation and reporting of maintenance activities.
  6. Conversion of Pond water to Potable water standards
  7. Shall be responsible for all O&M activities.
  8. Ensure the serviceability of all systems related to water and wastewater.
  9. Ensure updating of all maintenance documents.
  10. Ensure the safety measures and regulations as per Airport standards.
  11. Reduce the intake of BWSSB Potable / Raw water.

System Improvement plan

  1. Forecast the future requirements based on existing systems performance based on their service & no. of years in service.
  2. Plan to update towards latest technologies leading seamless performance & low-down time.
  3. System improvement plans need to be identified to enhance the performance of the system quality operational efficiency.
  4. Execution of the additional works (Capex and Opex) from the stage of Material supply installation and final testing and commissioning.
  5. Proposals for any system improvement to be put forward to AVP along with all supporting documents to implement the same
  6. Ensure MMs are carrying out daily site inspections of all installations in Site and provide suggestion for improvement

Management of

Manpower & Resource

1. Monitoring the allocation of the Manpower equipments for maintenance activity i.e. activity wise location wise and depending on its criticality.

2. Approving 24X7 operating for the duty roster for the team members and reviewing.

3. Co-ordination of maintenance work with team members outsource team with other divisions like operations & Safety in view of carrying out maintenance.

4. Ensures availability of adequate materials to conduct work activities; approves and/or initiates orders for new/replacement materials.

5. Planning & Procurement of spares/consumables including follow up with Procurement division.

6. Making technical decisions with respect to safe reliable operational conditions.

Project Coordination & Take Over

-ordination with the Project team/EPC/Design Team for any DLP & other additional improvement activities on Mechanical Installations

2. Verify the GFC drawing and ensure that execution is completed as per drawing.

3. Ensure that new systems are in line with our operational requirement / get it done with modifications and continuous follow up is required

4. Establish and document all processes and SOPs for water infrastructure

5. Drive testing commissioning and successful completion of HOTO.

6. Operational migration including preparation of technical manuals SOPs training deployment of work force Inventory drawings etc

7. Defect and snags identification follow-up and Mitigations with concerned department.

Safety andCompliance

1. To carry out the operation and maintenance without compromising safety.

2. To ensure zero accident/incident and injury free workplace. 3.Track adherence to agreed service levels by contractor. 4. Initiate quality and continuous improvement initiatives

5. Initiate to conduct safety trainings & documenting the required statutory processes

About 20 people related to operation and maintenance and administration of contractors / outsourced team

  1. JOB SPECIFICATION

5.1. Education qualification and certifications(Indicate the level of education and certifications required)

  • B. Tech in Chemical / Environmental
  • . in Chemistry / Environmental Science

5.2. Years of Experience(Years of relevant experience required)

  • Minimum 15 years of total experience with a deep understanding of Water & wastewater systems activities

5.3. Computer skills(Indicate the required knowledge on software applications hard ware etc. that are required)

  • Good communication skills & command is required to handle a big team
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for basic documentation and communication such as Microsoft Word Excel IBM Maximo AUTO CAD

5.4. Knowledge and work skillsIndicate what knowledge (machines equipment processes systems etc.) and work skills are required

  • Knowledge of International standards and regulatory requirements related to water supplies pumping and piping systems.
  • In-depth Knowledge on PHE
  • Deft in various types of pumps and its maintenance
  • Knowledge on filtration systems Disinfection system and various water treatment system
  • Commitment towards high quality sense for improvement and optimization
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
  • Ability to remain calm and to retain the overview in crisis situations
  • knowledge on VFD systems
  • Valid Four-wheeler driving license required
  • Knowledge on requirements of ISO 9001& 14001 standards will be added advantage.
