What you will be doing:
As a Line/Banquet Cook youll play a key role in delivering high-quality beautifully presented dishes that meet our standards of excellence. Youll work in a fast-paced team-driven environment where attention to detail consistency and pride in your craft are essential. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:- Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of your workstation at all times
- Strictly adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines including safe food handling storage and cleaning practice
- Assisting with prep work banquet plating and a variety of cooking techniques depending on the event or service style
- Working closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
- Supporting kitchen leadership in maintaining a positive and productive environment
- Participating in team meetings training sessions and continuous improvement efforts
- Taking pride in every plate that leaves your station

What You Bring To The Table- 1-2 years experience in a restaurant banquet or high-volume kitchen environment
- Excellent knife skills and deep knowledge of cooking techniques
- Safe Food Handlers Certificate
- Culinary Trade Certification or Read Seal (an asset)
- A passion for food and a drive to do your best every shift
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and event based hours
