Manager, Tax (12-month contract) (Vancouver, BC)

You will

• Preparemaintain update and manage tax working papers for multiple entities including preparation of continuity and reconciliation schedules

• Research and resolve discrepancies between tax balances and accounting balances

• Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns electionsformsand regulatory filings

• Prepare responses to inquiries and requests of tax authorities

• Be responsible forpreparation of tax provision working paper and tax estimate calculations

• Assistinperforming and documentingtax planningresearchand analysis

• Assistin corresponding with investors for tax related questions

• Assistin designing and implementing tax working papersand improving tax processes

• Assistwith ad hoc tax or accounting projects

You also have

• A professional accounting designation

• 3-5years experience in a tax-related role

• Familiarity with Tax Prep(preferred) or similar tax software

• Advanced Excel and Word skills

• Strong written and verbal English skills

• Real estate tax experience (an asset)

• Public practice tax experience (an asset)

Pay range:$100000 - $125000 per annum depending on experience.

This is a 12-month contract with the opportunity to extend up to 16 months.

Required Experience:

Manager
