Location: Bloomington MN

Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 DOQ

Employment Type: Full time trial to hire!

About this Opportunity:

This position is responsible for maintaining and continually improving the quality management system while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards. The Quality Technician works closely with internal teams to monitor and resolve quality issues support audits and certifications and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Create and review documents for compliance with customer requirements and industry standards

• Lead and conduct internal audits of quality systems and processes

• Support nonconforming product resolution processes including NCRs and RMAs

• Review scrap and nonconforming data and implement improvement actions

• Lead root cause analysis investigations and drive corrective actions

• Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives within the quality system

• Serve as administrator for QCBD core quality processes including Training Document Control Calibration RMA NCR CAR and PCR

• Complete and review customer-required documentation including Source Inspections eCerts PPAPs Gage R&R and certification packages

• Program automated coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to perform first article inspections (FAIs) per AS9102 and PPAP requirements

• Support ISO9001 AS9100 and MIL certification processes

• Review customer environmental regulatory requests including REACH RoHS and TSCA compliance documentation

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information related to contract and compliance requests

• Support continuous improvement of contracting and compliance processes

• Work collaboratively across multiple departments and perform additional duties as assigned

What makes you a great fit:

• High school diploma GED or equivalent required

• Technical school certificate or related technical experience preferred

• Ability to read blueprints drawings and visual aids

• Experience using complex measurement tools including CMM equipment

• Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure with changing deadlines and priorities

• Ability to work independently and lead within team environments

• Comfortable communicating across all levels of the organization
